Top Gear Producer Sues Clarkson Over Row
For 'racial discrimination' no less!

"The Top Gear producer who was punched and verbally abused by Jeremy Clarkson is suing the presenter and the BBC for racial discrimination.

Oisin Tymon was attacked in a row over food at a hotel in North Yorkshire which resulted in Clarkson losing his job at the corporation.

Court records show that the senior producer attended a hearing at a London employment tribunal on Friday with lawyers for the BBC and Clarkson.

It is reported that the case centres on the "verbal abuse" which accompanied the physical attack in March."

Distraught, he is. Devastated. In despair. He's been after locking hisself away in his little white cottage where the glen comes down to meet the sea, so he has, too upset even to touch a drap of the old black stuff or tackle a plate of his Ma's boxty and left-over cabbage.

The cunt probably didn't even know he was Irish or that he had been offended until somebody told him there might be a few quid in it for him.

He can sue Clarkson for all his worth but leave the Beeb alone.

As much as I hope he loses and think he probably deserved a punch in the kisser - i'll admit i'd be trying it on if I were him too.

Its getting a bit fucking silly now.
Yes he should be compensated for the loss of his job.

That Slater and Gordon firm are ambulance chasers (allegedly) so its hardly suprising.

Re: Top Gear Producer Sues Clarkson Over Row
If he called him an lazy Irish cunt, then surely, the terms of offence are the two words either side of the factually correct one.

Case closed.

Not sure about the racial discrimination bit, but other than that he has every right to sue.

I might be the only one but I hope he wins and bankrupts Clarkson in the process.

Not for any form of justice, just because Clarkson is a massive cunt.

Re: Top Gear Producer Sues Clarkson Over Row
Id he's suing the Beeb as well it suggests Clarkson had previous for the same sort of thing but they let it pass, I suppose that's technically failing in a "duty of care" thing.

I wish Clarkson had thumped someone who was in a position to thump him right back twice as hard with no consequences for his job.

Re: Top Gear Producer Sues Clarkson Over Row
So why then isn't he suing himself? If Clarkson has a history of this sort of thing then surely it was his job as producer (boss) of the show to stop it.

Re: Top Gear Producer Sues Clarkson Over Row
Do honkey's ever get away with playing the race card and get payouts?

I worked with an ugly black woman once who looked like beetlejuice.

She sue'd the firm for racial discrumination before settling out of court for 10k and leaving.

Turns out it was the third firm running which she had been paid off from for exactly the same thing even though nothing had actually happened or been said to her, as at the time the courts were too scared to not go in an ethnics favour, so she was playing the game.

Hope she's dead, proper wanker she was.

...after a long hard day's work we've all been disappointed that a cold beer and medium rare ribeye & chips isnt there WHEN WEVE EXPLICITY ASKED FOR IT, and in its place been shown a plate of sausage rolls and hula hoops- prompting a cuff around the jaw and a comment along the lines of " i gave you one thing to do you mince-ing fucking bog trotter. ONE THING.....

Re: Top Gear Producer Sues Clarkson Over Row
Clarkson accompanied the punch with some reference to the bloke's Irishness. You, I, and most sensible people may think "sticks and stones...(etc.)" but our law says that such words make the assault "racially aggravated" and therefore much more serious.

This Oisin Tyson chose not to make a complaint to the police about the assault. "Ah, good bloke!" we probably thought: " big enough to turn the other cheek eh?".
No such hope: he has seen the chance of big bucks from the BBC, or Clarkson, or probably both, if he makes a civil claim instead.

Did Clarkson add "Mincing" to his epithet? Why not add homophobia to the claim as well then, Oisin?
